Ha Ha, The Extermination of The Underclass is Such Fun - Listen To David Simon, Vote Warren, ‘Cos History . . .
Some people seem confused about this point. About why it might make sense to have the names, as it were, in “alt” or “left” circles get off their asses and stop dancing around language about genocide. The term “left” does not matter here. I am referring to media that is consumed by working class people in two countries. If, for some reason, some considered to be on the right speaks the truth there are people who will disregard everything else. I was arrested by relatives over two years ago despite the fact each claim I made had loads of references to various sources from historical to quoting what certain people said and giving the full context of their remarks. It did not matter. “You’re clearly taking too much of . . . you’re clearly reading too much of” - it is endless. And when one message gets parroted on multiple news channels for a prolonged period of time - what does one expect this demographic of people to think?
Too many of the types I grew up with and know (union workers and classic liberal sorts) get their marching orders from the likes of Chomsky or Democracy Now and that general framework of media. I don’t engage with that nonsense since their Syria and then Russian disinformation coverage. Ask yourselves: how far into this would we be if Noam Chomsky didn’t forget the Nuremberg Codes and hadn’t called for the extermination of a group of people? What if he said what a bunch of us know is happening, have known is happening for awhile? Then that news gets spread around. More people hear about it or at least have to confront it. What Chomsky, Taibbi, and the group of so-called reporters who fit into this picture have effectively done with their silence is, how does one put this kindly . . . you know? That is why it is important to keep nudging these people. I have tried being nice to them. I have trolled them. I have called Taibbi a “coward”. It does not matter . . . how someone brings information to this band of “liberals” - they’ll shrug it off or get snooty or cover something else. The number of times I hear things like “what are you doing retweeting such and such from so and so, do you not remember in 1970 when they did this which led to Thatcher which led to . . .” or Canadian variations on this? While many of us might agree they’re out to lunch, unfortunately, not everyone has the time or benefits that some of us might have to spend more than a minute on any of this.
The entire picture needs to change and become clearer. The sooner the better. There has not been an excuse for this gigantic level of indolence for - at least - two years. None. Not everybody can do what someone like Igor can. More need to try.
